A Living Portrait Project About Women, Self-recognition, and Becoming Visible Again.
Where It Began
The Art of Her began in 2023 as an underwater portrait book project exploring identity, visibility, sensuality, motherhood, grief, reinvention, and self-return.
It began as a collection of women, stories, images, and moments of self-recognition. A future printed body of work celebrating women not as perfected versions of themselves, but as they truly are.
But over time, I realized it was never only about the book.
It was about what happens when a woman allows herself to be seen without performing.
When she stops waiting to feel ready.
When she steps into the frame not to become someone else, but to meet herself again.
What It Has Become
Today, The Art of Her has evolved into an ongoing body of work woven into my portrait experiences — including underwater, intimate fine art, and boudoir sessions.
The book and future exhibition are still alive, and women who book a session may be considered for inclusion in this evolving project.
And from this work, something wider was born:
The Curious Art of Her — a creative space for ritual, reflection, writing, mirror work, portraits, and the slow return to self.
How to be a Part of it
How to Be Part of The Art of Her
The Art of Her is still unfolding.
Every woman who feels called to be part of this living body of work is invited to step into the experience through a portrait session.
Your session may take place underwater, in an intimate fine art setting, or through a boudoir-inspired portrait experience. Each one is created with the same intention: to offer a space where you can feel safe, witnessed, and free to meet yourself without performance.
This is not about looking a certain way.
It is about allowing yourself to be seen as you are — in your softness, your strength, your beauty, your becoming.
Women who book a session may be considered for inclusion in the evolving book and future exhibition project.

From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth.
