Let me hang that portrait in the bathroom!  Wait, what?

Decorate your bathroom or patio with family portraits - no way! .... or way to go?

Until now, we had to stay within the dry and protected confines of our home when looking for space for wall art display. Framed fine-art prints, canvases, acrylic blocks, albums, folio boxes, in short, all traditional ways to turn photographs into artwork to display in our homes, had to stay in the living room, dining room, hallway, bedroom, nursery, etc. We rarely thought of some of the more unusual spaces to hang a portrait.

The bathroom, for example.

Its ambient temperature fluctuates more than in any other room in our home, and so does the moisture level.

Moisture, extreme heat as well as continued exposure to UV light are the main culprits that can harm our traditional printed portrait art.

Any outside living spaces are also rarely decorated with family heirloom wall art.

Again, extreme temperature and moisture fluctuation throughout the seasons, exposure to weather and continued UV rays from sunlight will harm any photographic print, canvas, and even acrylic print fairly quickly.

Now we can expand into new and unusual areas.

Metal Prints are precisely that - a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Your images will take on a magical luminescence. You've never seen a more brilliant and impressive print! Colors are vibrant, and the luminescence is breathtaking. Detail and resolution are unsurpassed.
To complement this unique printing method, we offer a wide variety of creative and modern ways to hang and display your Metal Prints.

Metal prints are particularly interesting for Underwater Portraits as they pick up on the shininess of the water's surface and accentuate the brilliant colors achieved through a particular editing style I like to use.

A special coating applied to this type of print allows you to mount them on exterior walls as well. That gives patio or pool house decor an entirely new dimension.
Finally, it is possible to decorate bathrooms and patio walls with beautiful portraits of our loved ones.

Below are some images of a smaller metal print delivered to a client just in time for the Holidays last year.
