Woohoo - this little guy was wide awake for most of his session.  He was filled with so much curiosity and didn't want to miss a thing just like his two big brothers. 

As with all portrait sessions, you can go in with all the expectations of gorgeously posed portraits but in the end, it all depends on your subject. And that's ok. The reason we hire a professional photographer is to capture us and our loved ones in this particular moment in our lives. Let's face it, what we we really want is to freeze time. We want to hold on to all the little things that fill us with unmeasurable love. If that means, the kids roll around on the ground or cry because they had a rough day, if they are tired, sad, coming down with something, then that's OK.  

It is YOU right now, it is YOUR FAMILY right now, it is YOUR LOVE right now. 

What we created here is a priceless document of this family's life at that very moment. Just after a new baby was welcomed into their middle.

I feel incredibly honored that they invited me into their home and into their life for a short period of time to help them freeze this precious moment.
